B.Tech. in Cyber Security
B.Tech. in Cyber Security builds strong foundations in network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and risk management. Students gain hands-on experience with real-world tools and scenarios, enabling them to safeguard systems and information in an increasingly connected world.

Program Outcomes
Students should understand the principles of network security, including network architecture, secure network design, access control, VPNs, secure wireless communication, and network monitoring.
Graduates will be proficient in using security technologies and tools to protect computer systems and networks, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
Students will have knowledge of digital forensics principles and methodologies for collecting, preserving, analysing, and presenting digital evidence in a legally admissible manner. They should be proficient in using forensic tools and techniques to investigate cybercrimes and security incidents.
Program Scope
Graduates can pursue careers in cybersecurity, focusing on securing digital systems, networks and data against cyber threats.
Opportunities in IT security consulting, forensic analysis and incident response to address cybercrimes and security breaches.
The specialisation prepares students for ethical hacking, digital forensics and risk assessment in the cybersecurity domain.
